Parking available at Waban/Alley Park and Washington Park

What: Annual Oak Bluffs Fireworks

Who: Sponsored by the Town of Oak Bluffs with help from many generous donations. 

Special THANK YOUs to the Summercamp hotel and the Oak Bluffs Association (see their GoFundMe) for helping to ensure this community event occurs in years to come!

When: Friday, August 19th (rain date, August 20th)

The show will begin after 9pm, when it gets dark.

***The 8:30pm boat will leave from Vineyard Haven***

Where: Ocean Park, Oak Bluffs

No blankets are allowed to be set up, unattended, before 4pm. Tarps are prohibited.

Please carry-out all personal items and trash at the end of the evening so we may continue to use the parks for such events.

Parking will be available in Waban Alley Park and Washington Park. Parks will open at 3:30pm

$20 per car will be collected by the MV Camp Meeting Association for the benefit of the Tabernacle Restoration Fund.

Handicap spaces (placard required) will be available at the Steamship Authority

*** There will be NO PARKING in Sunset Park ***

Cars may NOT stay in parks overnight, and will be towed by 8am the following day

No parking:

Seaview Ave starting at 6am and Ocean Ave starting at 12 noon. Cars will be towed at the owner’s expense. 

Residential streets from Dukes County Ave to Seaview Ave or Greenleaf Ave, 3-11pm. 

Other notes:

The Vineyard Transit Authority (VTA) will follow modified routes

All Town bathhouses will be open
