Council on Aging

Purpose

The Council on Aging provides social engagement, social services, educational programs, food distribution and other activities to support our citizens. We collaborate with local, regional, state and federal agencies and institutions to support the swift delivery of services to our seniors.

2018 Accomplishments 

  • Completed comprehensive senior services program review to determine program activities offered to elderly population.

Significant Budget Changes & Initiatives 

  • COA budget increase to reflect approximately 25% increase in MV Center for Living assessment
